Does KuCoin require KYC?

KuCoin implemented KYC verification back in 2018. However, the KYC did not become mandatory on this exchange until August 2023. After that, all customers who hold accounts on KuCoin must undergo full identity verification. KuCoin's KYC process is simple and straightforward. First, you need to input your personal details: name, address, date of birth. Then, upload identity documents (government-issued identity card or passport).
