At Cexfinder, we don’t list every available crypto exchange. We do our best to only list exchanges with a proven track record of reliability, regulatory compliance and safety.
Safety of user funds is our priority, and because of this we only list exchanges which fall under the following criteria:
- Must be live and operating for at least 12 months.
- Should be in top 50 spot or derivatives volume (CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko).
- Must service users globally. Local exchanges operating in only one or a few countries or regions are not listed.
- Must have reasonable fees. Spot fees should be lower than 0.30%, and futures fees should be lower than 0.070% taker and 0.030% maker.
- Must support crypto withdrawals and allow self-custody of assets.
“Exchanges” that will not be listed include:
- Trading platforms only available through mobile apps.
- Exchanges charging exorbitant transaction fees, or charging any “inactivity” or “account management” fees for non-active traders.
- Exchanges with suspicious trading volumes.
- Exchanges with poor user or customer support experience.
- Exchanges that are not primarily aimed at crypto trading. This includes trading platforms or payment services that only offer Bitcoin, Ethereum, or a few other popular digital currencies.
- Exchanges with fewer than 50 different trading pairs listed on spot, or less than 100 on derivatives.
- Exchanges without any USD stablecoin pairs.
Our goal is to have a comprehensive list of reliable and safe crypto exchanges.
We reserve the right to list or remove any exchange listings which we don’t believe are in our user’s best interest.
