Bitunix is a newcomer exchange that does not (yet) have many of the features you would find on more established exchanges. There’s fewer coins compared to most exchanges, and no fiat deposits.
However, Bitunix can be a good alternative exchange for basic spot and futures trading for traders who don’t need a plethora of other features.
New traders can get bonuses up to $5,000 depending on deposit amount, and a lifetime 10% fee discount with our referral link.

Bitunix Review – Introduction
Bitunix is an exchange without a long track record, but its varied features, solid altcoin selection and no-KYC policy make it a noteworthy contender for privacy-focused crypto traders. In this Bitunix review we will take a look at the platform’s history, fees, features, security and more.
Who is Bitunix for?
Bitunix is an exchange focused on experienced crypto traders. Although it can be used by beginner investors, it doesn’t have a wide range of features or fiat deposit options to facilitate first-time buyers.
Pros and cons
- Up to $300 USDT futures bonuses for new accounts, and $5,000 USDT bonus depending on deposit amount.
- No country restrictions and optional KYC.
- Can be used from US without VPN.
- Very cheap spot fees and average futures fees, can be reduced by another 10% using our referral code.
- Low spot but good futures trading volume.
- Lacking some usability and customization in certain parts of the user interface.
- Expensive fiat deposits through 3rd party payment processors.
- No fiat withdrawals.
- Few trading pairs, but growing.
Is Bitunix good for beginners?
Bitunix is not the best exchange for complete beginners who wish to buy their first Bitcoin. This is due to lack of direct (and thus cheap) fiat deposit options, and overall lack of newbie-friendly features such as Quick Convert, Demo Trading, and fiat withdrawals.
The platform can be used for simple Spot trading, and will of course let you buy and sell any of its 350+ listed altcoins. It has some of the industry’s lowest spot trading fees, and will only charge 0.08% to maximum 0.1% per trade. You can even easily reduce this by another 10% by signing up with Cexfinder’s referral code!
Is Bitunix good for crypto trading?
This exchange offers plenty of standard tools used by most Futures crypto traders. Interface is very customizable, and it’s just as easy to set orders and open or close positions as you’d expect. You can use up to 125x leverage, and set standard limit, market, stop-loss, take profit, trigger and stop-limit orders.
When it comes to volume and liquidity, Bitunix has enough of both unless you market buy high 6-figure amounts. Otherwise, you should have no problems whatsoever to execute buys or sells of any size.
Other features Bitunix lacks that experienced traders may be accustomed to include subaccounts, trading bots, and margin trading. Regardless, if you need a solid and reliable Futures trading experience, Bitunix has all the tools you need.
Deposits – How to Deposit Money to Bitunix
Depositing cryptocurrency
You can deposit any supported cryptocurrency asset to Bitunix. Currently, there are just over 350 altcoins listed on the exchange. Standard blockchain transaction fees are unavoidable, however Bitunix will not charge you anything extra for making a crypto deposit.
Depositing fiat
On-ramping local currency (fiat) to the exchange can be done through the P2P (peer-to-peer) marketplace, or via 3rd party payment providers supported.
P2P marketplace
Bitunix doesn’t have the greatest selection of sellers on its P2P market. However, you can buy USDT through several dozen payment methods, including Zelle, Neteller, Perfect Money, Volet, Cashapp, Revolut, Wise, Uphold, Zen, Payeer, Skrill, PayPal, and more.
On a P2P marketplace you will be buying crypto directly from other individuals, so it’s important to review their history to ensure they are reliable. To use Bitunix’s P2P market, you will have to complete KYC. If you do not wish to verify your identity with the exchange, you will need to deposit crypto from another exchange or wallet.
3rd party payments
You can also buy crypto on Bitunix through integrated 3rd party payment providers. These include four different yet reputable and well-known processors Moonpay, Coinify, Guardarian, Alchemy Pay, and Volet.

These 3rd party payment processors will let you buy crypto with VISA, Mastercard, Apple Pay, or bank transfers. Depending on selected payment processor and payment method, fees will be between 2% and 5%. Bitunix does not charge any fiat deposit fees whatsoever – all the fees are charged by the processors.
Additional payment methods are available depending on your country or currency used. For example, local payment options are available in Brazil (PIX) or Indonesia (Dana, Qris, Permata, Cimb, Ovo, …). You can also use Revolut Pay throughout EU and other countries.
Supported fiat currencies: USD, EUR, RUB, GBP, UAH, KZT, BRL, TRY, VND, AED, AUD, BGN, BGD, CAD, CHF, CLP, COP, CZK, DKK, HKD, HUF, IDR, ILS,INR, ISK, JOD, JPY, KRW, KWD, MAD, MDL, MXN, MYR, NGN, NOK, NZD, OMR, PEN, PHP, PKR, PLN, QAR, RON, SEK, SGD, THB, TWD, ZAR, DOP, EGP, and KES.
Is it cheap to buy Bitcoin on Bitunix?
Larger fiat gateways and exchanges such as Binance, Bybit or OKX will let you deposit fiat with zero or near zero fees, and are generally cheaper for converting local currency into cryptocurrency. Nevertheless, if you just wish to get some quick cash directly onto Bitunix, the exchange will give you plenty of options.
Best exchanges for fiat-to-crypto conversion:
Withdrawals – How to Withdraw Funds From Bitunix
Bitunix does not currently support fiat withdrawals. You will not be able to withdraw funds to your bank account or bank card. On Bitunix, you can only withdraw cryptocurrency assets.
The exchange is very transparent with withdrawal fees, and has a complete breakdown of exact withdraw fees for each supported asset and network. In general, withdraw fees are very reasonable:
- Bitcoin (mainnet): 0.00023 BTC
- Ethereum (ERC-20): 0.05 ETH
- Ethereum (BEP-20): 0.001 ETH
- Ethereum (Arbitrum): 0.0005 ETH
- USDT (Optimism): 3 USDT
- USDT (ERC-20, BSC, Polygon, Solana, Arbitrum, Tron, and AVAX): 2 USDT
Crypto withdraw fees on most exchanges through cheaper blockchain networks are around $1 for USDT, making Bitunix a tiny bit more expensive. We only listed the most popular coins and networks, but you can also find much cheaper ones.
If you simply need to send funds to friends, you can also perform an Internal transfer directly to another Bitunix user by entering their email, mobile phone number of user ID (UID). These internal transfers have no fees.
Non-KYC withdrawal limits
For security purposes, Bitunix will let you withdraw up to $10,000 per day while your account is only protected by an email address. Once you connect your Google Authenticator or mobile phone number for 2FA, you will be able to withdraw higher amounts.
Users without completed identity verification can withdraw up to 500,000 USDT per day. This is one of the highest 24-hour withdraw limits we’ve seen across all non-kyc exchanges. Verified users can withdraw $2-$5 million per day, depending on verification level.
Trading – How to Trade Crypto on Bitunix?
On Bitunix, you can trade crypto assets on Spot, Futures, or through Copy Trading.
Spot Trading
Spot trading interface on Bitunix is very rudimentary. It does not support any advanced order types or triggers. You will only be able to place Limit or Market orders. Furthermore, the Spot trading interface is not customizable at all.

It’s immediately clear where Bitunix’s priorities are, because it provides a substantially better user experience on Futures trading. Nevertheless, if you wish to perform basic Spot trades between crypto assets, you will be able to do it easily.
One massive benefit to spot trading on Bitunix are very cheap fees, set to 0.08% maker and 0.1% taker. The fees make this platform one of the cheapest Spot exchanges to trade on.
Futures Trading
Bitunix’s bread and butter is Futures trading. Here are the highlights:
- Excellent and highly customizable trading interface.
- You can trade in one way (isolated) or hedge (cross) mode.
- You can apply up to 125X leverage.
- Three different pre-set trading layouts are available, or you can create a custom one.
- You can hide order book, enable or disable sound notifications, resize or move windows, and more.

Throughout our tests it was obvious Bitunix went through a great deal of effort to provide traders with a good Futures experience. We found no obvious issues executing trades, and we found the entire experience far more pleasant compared to most exchanges.
Crypto Trading Fees
Futures trading fees are industry-average with 0.02% for maker and 0.06% for taker orders. You can reduce fees further by using referral code “2jzdgm” or our signup link during account creation.
Compared to other exchanges, Bitunix has average fees and does not have any hidden costs or charges for crypto-to-crypto trading. With the referral code, you can permanently reduce your fees by 10% at no additional cost or downside.

Copy Trading
Bitunix gives you the option to try copytrading, despite the feature being a risky endeavor for both experienced and new investors. You can find dozens of lead traders, and filter them by PnL (profit and loss), ROI (return on investment), Win Rate, or AUM (assets under management).
You can view each individual trader’s profile, showing historical performance, open positions, recently closed positions, most traded altcoins, and more.

Bitunix doesn’t have the most vibrant copytrading community, but you can still find traders who may be worth following. Copy trading is rarely a path to financial success, so always make sure you understand the risks and dangers.
Other Top Features
Bitunix is a newer exchange with a focus on providing a good derivatives trading experience. Thus, it doesn’t have many of the features customers from large exchanges may be accustomed to. Bitunix does not have staking, loans, fiat withdrawals, margin trading, airdrops and launchpools, or similar additional financial services.
Here’s what Bitunix does have:
- Full dark scheme: The entire user interface is available in dark theme. This is often a dealbreaker for most in our review team, and we’re happy Bitunix went the extra mile and made account backend, support center and other pages available in night mode.
- Signup bonuses: Up to 5,500 USDT in newcomer bonuses are available:
- Newcomer bonus: Deposit over 100 USDT, complete KYC and do one trade to open a Mystery Box containing up to 200 USDT in Futures bonuses, Trading bonuses, or spot crypto.
- Trading volume bonuses: Total of 300 USDT in Futures bonuses are available for trading volume thresholds, starting from 100,000 USDT and up to 10 million USDT.
- Deposit bonuses: You can obtain large bonuses based on cumulative deposits ($10 for $200 deposit, $100 for $5,000 deposit, $1,000 for $50,000 deposit, up to $5,000 bonus for $400,000 deposit).
- Trading competitions: Bitunix frequently runs highly valuable trade competitions with rewards often reaching $1M in USDT. Because this CEX only has 0.6M customers, reaching high prize levels is possible even for smaller traders.
- Mobile app: Bitunix’s mobile app provides a solid trading and portfolio management experience on mobile devices. The app is available for iPhone and Android devices. You can download the app from Apple’s App Store, or as a standalone .APK file for Android.
Security & Safety – Is Bitunix a Safe Exchange?
In order to answer whether Bitunix is safe to use, we looked at several factors: regulatory compliance, asset protection methods, account security options, and exchange’s track record.
Regulatory compliance and licenses
It’s always a challenge getting regulatory approvals for a no-KYC exchange. Thus, Bitunix currently holds very few regulatory licenses or approvals by major countries or institutions.
- Obtained licenses include an MSB license in the United States, MSB license in Canada, and VASP compliance license from the SEC in Philippines.
- According to some sources, company is actively pursuing additional licenses in United States, Canada, Lithuania, Poland, and Australia. Their upcoming plans involve opening branches in the Philippines, Japan and UK.
- Bitunix is compliant with AML (anti-money laundering) laws and operates from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Bitunix was established in 2021 and officially launched in 2022, and currently services 0.6M users (December 2024, official website's About page). CoinGecko, a reputable coin and exchange tracker website, ranks Bitunix with an 8/10 score as world’s #32 CEX.
Asset protection
Back in August 2024, Bitunix implemented Proof of Reserves (PoR) reports. The reports are published quarterly, and allow anyone to safely check that the platform has all customer funds accounted for. This is a crucial transparency tool, and the latest snapshots shows all customer balances are not only accounted for, but even over-collateralized.

To keep customer assets safe, Bitunix partnered with known crypto security and custody platforms Nemean Services and Cobo. Through these partnerships, exchange implemented advanced security measures and ensures funds are secured in cold storage (offline wallets).
Bitunix has introduced Proof of Reserves to enhance transparency and reassure users that their assets are fully backed. Additionally, Bitunix has strengthened its security with a $5 million insurance policy and partnered with additional security providers.Read Now
In addition, Bitunix is working on Fireblocks integration, an industry-leading crypto custody solution responsible for billions of assets on hundreds of companies.
Customer support
Customer support is available 24/7, with quick access to support representatives in multiple languages. Live chat support is always available on the website. Their Help Center also has plenty of articles and guides explaining how to use the exchange’s various features.
Exchange has an active social media presence on X, Telegram, Facebook and Instagram, but does not provide customer support through these channels.
User account security
The following methods can be used to keep your user account secure:
- 2FA (2-factor authentication) is available with email, mobile phone, or Google Authenticator.
- Anti-phishing code can be set up to verify official communication and prevent scams.
- Withdrawal whitelist can be set up to enable quick withdrawals to approved addresses.
- Device management and login history can be used to check for unauthorized logins.
- Account freeze is available to disable trades and withdrawals in an emergency.
Overall, user accounts on Bitunix are protected with both basic and advanced methods. Trading PINs, withdrawal passwords, Passkey support or isolated subaccounts are some of the methods they could implement to bolster the security further. Using 2FA is sufficient to prevent unauthorized logins in vast majority of cases, however.
Is Bitunix safe to use?
Regulatory compliance and licenses are lacking, but this is expected for a CEX with optional identity verification.
- According to their Linkedin page, Bitunix has just over 60 employees.
- Exchange and employees are active on blockchain conferences.
- Active bug bounty program rewards users for finding and reporting platform vulnerabilities.
- Asset protection methods lack some transparency, but exchange’s partners provide additional confidence in fund safety.
- There’s a $5 million insurance policy to back up Bitunix’s security features.
- Account security measures are adequate to prevent majority of hacks and scam attempts.
Bitunix did not suffer from any platform breaches, hacks or lost funds. There is currently no evidence to indicate Bitunix is a scam or fake exchange. It has been operating for several years without problems and has a good reputation in the trading community.

Final Verdict – Is Bitunix a Good Exchange?
Bitunix is a relatively new and small exchange with decent volume and solid selection of 350+ altcoins. Bitunix is either excellent or lacking features, depending on your individual needs:
- If you need a reliable no-kyc derivatives trading platform, then this exchange is one of the top choices.
- On the other hand, if you need features such as staking or loans, you should look elsewhere.
Trust is always an issue with any cryptocurrency exchange, especially one without a very long track record. Bitunix offers up to 125X leverage on Futures, meaning you can easily trade on the exchange with a smaller amount of funds to give the platform a try and build your confidence.
We haven’t encountered any issues using this exchange, despite some minor usability issues. Futures trading is very smooth and polished, and with time we’re sure Bitunix will apply the same polish to the rest of the platform. For no-kyc crypto trading without country restrictions, Bitunix is a good choice.
