Demo trading is intended for new traders to help them become more familiar with trading interface, and to practice strategies without any monetary risks. Demo trading is also a good way to test high leverage strategies without the risk of blowing up your account.

Does demo trading require real money deposits?

Currently we are not aware of any exchange that restricts demo trading feature to customers regardless of their deposits, account holdings, or KYC status. Demo trading typically only requires basic account creation. Your fake money on a demo trading account can also be replenished at any time.
