Bitget has announced strategic collaborations with Alchemy Pay and GEO Pay (Swapple), significantly enhancing the crypto conversion capabilities for its users. These partnerships enable seamless transactions between five major Southeast Asian currencies and cryptocurrencies, marking a significant milestone in Bitget’s regional expansion.
Expanding Payment Options
The collaboration integrates leading payment solutions into Bitget’s platform, allowing users to effortlessly convert cryptocurrencies into local currencies like IDR (Indonesia), PHP (Philippines), MYR (Malaysia), THB (Thailand), and VND (Vietnam) through various popular local payment channels. These include QRIS, DANA, OVO, GCash, Maya, DuitNow, Thai QR, TrueMoney, MOMO, Viet QR, and ViettelPay. Additionally, bank transfer options are now comprehensively available for these currencies.
Alchemy Pay is renowned for bridging crypto platforms with traditional payment systems across 173 countries, thereby broadening access to cryptocurrencies globally. On the other hand, GEO Pay, recently rebranded as Swapple, offers innovative peer-to-peer payment and fiat-to-crypto exchange services, known for secure transactions and low fees. Together, they enhance the Bitget ecosystem by providing user-friendly and incentivized crypto exchange experiences.
Enhancing Localized Trading Experience
Bitget’s initiatives are part of a broader strategy to adapt its services to meet the increasing demand for cryptocurrency solutions in Southeast Asia. The platform focuses on providing a locally attuned, secure, and intuitive trading environment. “Bitget’s ecosystem is leaning to build a more user-friendly experience for crypto”, stated Gracy Chen, Managing Director at Bitget. “Onboarding fiat gateways and customizing its products towards local audiences, the platform aims to accelerate mass adoption of crypto.”

Strategic Growth and New Services
Earlier in April, Bitget unveiled a strategic partnership with Onramp Money, expanding its fiat gateway to include INR via UPI and IMPS, as well as NGN, AED, MXN through bank transfers, and VND via VietQR. This development ensures that users have a variety of reliable methods for converting between crypto and fiat currencies.
Further building on its commitment to regional accessibility, Bitget Wallet—Asia’s premier Web3 wallet—also partnered with Onmeta. This collaboration is set to boost Bitget’s Over-The-Counter (OTC) trading features by incorporating local payment methods like NEFT, IMPS, and UPI in India, supporting a vast array of blockchains and tokens.
These partnerships not only expand Bitget’s operational footprint but also align with its vision to simplify and secure the entry into the cryptocurrency market for users across various regions.
