Bitget Expands Into Real U.S. Stocks Trading With Stock+

The race to merge traditional finance and digital assets accelerated again this week as Bitget unveiled Stock+1, a new service that allows customers to buy, hold, and transfer real U.S. stocks directly from the exchange. The launch marks a significant expansion of Bitget’s Stocks 2.0 strategy, which already includes tokenized equities, real-world asset infrastructure, futures products, and CFD-style trading tools.

Unlike many crypto platforms that focus exclusively on tokenized stocks, Stock+ introduces direct ownership of U.S.-listed shares through regulated brokerage partners. As a result, investors can now access traditional stocks, tokenized stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other financial products from a single account.

The announcement arrives at a time when major crypto exchanges are aggressively expanding into traditional financial markets. As competition intensifies, platforms increasingly view stocks and real-world assets as a major growth opportunity beyond digital currencies.

Stock+ Brings Real Share Ownership to Crypto-Native Investors

Bitget’s newly announced Stock+ allows investors to purchase actual U.S. stocks using USDC and other digital assets. Orders are executed through regulated brokers, giving investors real ownership of underlying shares rather than synthetic exposure or derivatives.

That distinction is becoming increasingly important as exchanges launch different forms of stock-related products. Through Stock+, investors are eligible for shareholder benefits including cash dividends, stock splits, and voting rights associated with their holdings.

According to Bitget2, customers can fund accounts with cryptocurrency, convert assets into USDC, and begin trading without navigating many of the traditional barriers commonly associated with international brokerage accounts.

“Access is important, but ownership matters too,” said Bitget CEO Gracy Chen while discussing the company’s vision of combining crypto markets and traditional financial assets within a unified ecosystem.

Bitget Launches Broker Transfer Program With Up to 10,000 USDT in Rewards

Alongside Stock+, Bitget announced its new Stock Transfer Fast-Track Plan, designed to attract investors who already hold stocks with traditional brokers.

The program allows customers to transfer existing U.S. stock portfolios from participating firms3 including Interactive Brokers (IBKR), Webull, Futu, Tiger Brokers, Moomoo, and Longbridge. Rather than selling positions and repurchasing them elsewhere, investors can move holdings directly into Bitget’s platform.

Eligible participants may receive transfer fee reimbursements ranging from 150 USDT to 10,000 USDT, depending on portfolio size and actual transfer costs charged by their existing broker. Registration remains open from June 22 through July 31, 2026.

To qualify, investors must register for the campaign, submit a transfer request through Bitget, complete the outgoing transfer with their current broker, and provide proof of eligible transfer fees after the process is completed.

More Than 10,000 Stocks and ETFs Available

Bitget says Stock+ provides access to more than 10,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs through partnerships with RQD Clearing and Atomic Vaults Securities.

The platform supports fractional investing with positions starting from extremely small allocations. Investors can access real-time market data, including free Level 1 quotes, while certain VIP customers can unlock advanced Nasdaq TotalView data.

Trading follows standard U.S. market schedules, including pre-market, regular trading sessions, and after-hours trading. Fees start at 0.1%, while a promotional 50% discount remains available through August 31, 2026.

Bitget also supports inbound stock transfers, portfolio management tools, market research, and integrated funding through cryptocurrency deposits.

Tokenized Stocks Remain a Key Part of Bitget’s Strategy

While real stock ownership is now receiving most of the attention, Bitget continues expanding its tokenized stock ecosystem as well.

Earlier this month, the company launched Reality, its regulated real-world asset issuance platform. Through Reality, Bitget offers tokenized stock products known as rTokens, which are backed 1:1 by underlying equities held in custody4.

Unlike Stock+, rTokens do not provide direct shareholder ownership. Instead, they function as blockchain-based representations of stock exposure that can be traded on-chain while maintaining backing from underlying assets.

According to Bitget, more than 500 tokenized stocks and ETFs are already available through the platform, including popular names such as Tesla, NVIDIA, SpaceX, Apple, and Amazon. The company reports that assets under management for rTokens have already surpassed $50 million.

Real Stocks vs Tokenized Stocks: Exchanges Are Offering Both

Bitget is not alone in expanding into direct equities.

Earlier this month, Binance, MEXC and Gate all launched direct U.S. stock and ETF trading, giving customers access to more than 10,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs through regulated brokerage infrastructure. Investors receive ownership of underlying shares while benefiting from fractional investing, stablecoin funding, and integration alongside cryptocurrency holdings.

Binance subsequently launched bStocks, a separate tokenized securities product that offers 24/7 trading and self-custody on BNB Chain. Unlike direct equities, bStocks provide economic exposure rather than direct share ownership. Popular offerings already include tokenized Tesla, NVIDIA, Circle, SanDisk, Micron, and SpaceX exposure.

The broader market also includes Kraken-backed xStocks, currently one of the most recognized tokenized stock products in crypto, alongside Ondo Finance‘s growing tokenized asset ecosystem. Together, these platforms are creating multiple pathways for investors to gain stock market exposure, whether through direct ownership or blockchain-based representations.

Bitget Pushes Toward the Universal Exchange Vision

Bitget describes itself as a Universal Exchange, and the latest launches show how that vision is taking shape.

The company now offers cryptocurrency trading, tokenized stock products, real-world assets, derivatives, CFDs, and direct ownership of U.S. equities under a single platform. Rather than forcing investors to manage separate brokerage accounts, crypto exchanges, and tokenized asset platforms, Bitget aims to consolidate those services into one ecosystem.

As traditional finance and blockchain infrastructure continue converging, exchanges increasingly compete on the breadth of assets they offer rather than crypto trading volume alone. With Stock+, tokenized equities, and a growing real-world asset platform, Bitget is becoming one of the largest gateways between digital assets and traditional capital markets.

For investors seeking direct stock ownership alongside crypto investing, Bitget’s latest expansion represents another sign that the gap between Wall Street and digital asset markets is narrowing rapidly.
