Gate Adds Apple Pay Crypto Withdrawals

The future of crypto payments just arrived, and it fits right in your iPhone wallet. Gate Connect, the payment arm of Gate.com, has launched the world’s first Apple Pay crypto selling feature, allowing instant, one-click withdrawals of digital assets directly to Visa and Mastercard bank cards.

This innovation makes Gate the first major global exchange to support off-ramping through Apple Pay, something no other platform currently offers.

Apple Pay Withdrawals – a Breakthrough in Crypto-to-Fiat Withdrawals

Finding quick, cheap and convenient cashing out crypto can be a very tedious step. Almost a year ago, Gate was one of the first crypto exchanges that added withdrawals directly to Visa and Mastercard, and still remains as one of the few platforms with this feature.

Today, Gate Connect’s latest update adds another layer of convenience. With the Apple Pay integration, you can now sell crypto and receive fiat directly in your bank card balance. No extra apps, no waiting, no third-party gateways.

The process combines Apple Pay’s native encryption with Gate’s four-layer security system, ensuring every transaction is protected, authenticated, and compliant. The result is a fast, secure, and intuitive withdrawal experience that feels as seamless as buying coffee with your iPhone.

Secure, Seamless, and Instant

What sets Gate’s integration apart is its focus on both speed and security. The platform uses real-time blockchain conversion combined with Apple Pay’s tokenized encryption, ensuring that sensitive card data never touches Gate’s servers.

Every transaction also passes through Gate’s quadruple authentication system, which includes password entry, SMS verification, email confirmation, and Google Authenticator validation.

This layered security makes Gate Connect one of the safest and most compliant fiat gateways in the crypto industry today.

A First in the Crypto Industry

No other major exchange currently supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, or similar mobile wallets for crypto withdrawals. This makes Gate Connect’s new feature a world-first breakthrough — one that redefines how everyday people move between digital and traditional currencies.

By eliminating the friction between crypto and fiat, Gate has set a new standard for accessibility and convenience in the exchange space.

How to Sell Crypto With Apple Pay on Gate Connect

Cashing out crypto to your card is now as easy as a few taps. Here’s how you can do it in minutes:

  1. Open the Gate App and tap [Total Assets] in the top-left corner or [Assets] in the bottom-right.
  2. Select [Withdraw], then choose [Fiat Withdrawal].
  3. Enter the withdrawal amount.
  4. Pick Apple Pay as your payment method and tap [Preview Order].
  5. Confirm all withdrawal details, accept the User Agreement, and continue with Apple Pay.
  6. Complete verification: enter your fund password, SMS code, email code, and Google Authenticator code.
  7. You’ll be redirected to Apple Pay to finalize the withdrawal.
  8. Confirm the payment and wait a few moments for processing.
  9. Once the order is completed, your funds are instantly available on your linked bank card.

It’s that simple — no manual transfers, no long settlement times. For a complete tutorial, you can read Gate’s Help Center article.

Apple Pay Offramping Fees

Evidently, Gate’s fees for selling crypto via Apple Pay are set to merely 1%! This makes Apple Pay offramp one of the cheapest ways to sell crypto. Apple Pay withdrawal is even cheaper than deposits through the same method, which has a 2.5% fee.

In comparison, card withdrawals on Gate come with a 2.5% fee, and up to 3.6% for some customers/regions. Cheapest card cashouts on other crypto platforms are 2%, so Gate still has one of the most affordable fiat offramp fees through these methods.

We will keep a close eye on these fees as perhaps they are part of a promotional period, but hopefully they remain as cheap as they are now. Either way, if you want to sell Bitcoin and receive cash with Apple Pay, don’t hesitate to try Gate as an excellent (and only) choice.

Gate Has More Ways to Move Your Money

While Apple Pay steals the spotlight, Gate Connect is quietly building a global payment network that supports multiple cash-in and cash-out options. Current payment methods include:

  • Apple Pay – instant fiat deposits or withdrawals to Visa/Mastercard.
  • Google Pay – deposits supported, no word yet on Google Pay withdrawals (no exchanges have this yet, either).
  • Bank card payments – for traditional deposits and withdrawals via Visa or Mastercard.
  • SEPA – for European bank transfers.
  • PIX – for fast payments in Brazil.
  • FPS – for near instant money transfers in United Kingdom.

Gate plans to expand its ecosystem further, creating a unified global payment bridge for crypto-to-fiat transactions. For details on all available payment methods see Fees in our Gate review.

Sell Crypto with Apple Pay Now – Only on Gate

With the launch of Apple Pay withdrawals, Gate Connect isn’t just updating a feature, it’s adding a completely new off-ramp method. For traders, investors, and everyday users, this means faster access to cash, tighter security, and an experience that feels entirely native to the devices they already use.

To assist and prepare for (potentially) more exchanges adding this feature, we have a new Apple Pay Withdrawals filter and page up and running. Of course it currently only includes a mention of Gate, but it usually doesn’t take long for competition to catch up, so expect more platforms on our list soon.

In a market where simplicity and trust are everything, Gate has just pulled off something big — it made selling crypto as easy as paying with your phone. On Gate, you can start withdrawing crypto with Apple Pay today and experience the speed, convenience and safety.
